Monthly Meetings and Visits

The Club meets on the second Thursday of each month at Victory Hall in Broadclyst (EX5 3EE). Meetings begin at 7.30pm and we have a very varied programme of events to try and cater for all interests, whether it be flowers, vegetables and fruit, flower arranging or garden design.

We also hold regular visits to gardens in Devon andin 2025 we were involved in the very succesful Broadclyst Flower Festival, which featured the Veitch family as its theme.

The Club is proud to be affiliated to the the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), which brings many benefits.

Regular Newsletters

Our monthly newsletter "Cuttings" contains meeting reports, local events and articles on a wide range of gardening subjects both locally and further afield.

In 2025 the newsletter has had a special feature focussing on the many different and unusual trees that can be found in the village. It is very easy to take trees for granted - with our ever busier daily lives they stand in the background, but many have their own story to tell and most have been here before we came along and will still be around long after we have gone!

In 2026, the newsletter will be featuring articles on improving biodiversity and creating gardens that are more climate resilient, especially since the summer of 2025 was so dry, followed by a record wet winter.
